the people are all good-looking again and so ridiculously well-dressed, götgatan style. slicked-back 50's hair, shocking white blonde, folded jeans, funny socks, pointed shoes, canvas bags, tight jackets. it feels like home in a comfortable, strange way.

the labels on milk. the tall yellow-ochre and beige buildings, with the sunlight slanting at a straight angle, dividing the blue sky and the high windows. the white and black street signs. the boy on the bike, with that look on his face, gliding in the middle of nytorgsgatan.

and i've been sleeping deeply, even in strangers' homes... maybe because of the familiar white walls, design books, IKEA kitchens, do-it-yourself chairs, white sheets... is home this? aesthetics that fits your heart's corners?
